For 25 years Jim served Sunnyvale in Law Enforcement and as a Firefighter. For the past five years, Jim has proudly served on the Sunnyvale City Council. With the support of the voters, Jim aspires to extend his tenure on the Council four more years.
Sunnyvale is at a crossroads. While construction cranes and high-rise buildings increasingly dominate our skyline, many of us face an affordable housing crisis. Jim has always been an unapologetic champion of the working class, as proven by his successful campaign for an increase in the minimum wage.
Jim shares the Kiwanis belief that “Kids Count”. He knows that children are our future and should be seen as valuable, natural assets. Kiwanis is home to the largest youth service programs in the world and as President of our local Kiwanis club, Jim helps empower elementary school students, tweens and teens to make a positive impact through service and leadership.
Jim is currently working on other progressive projects geared toward community development worthy of Sunnyvale residents. With your vote, he will build on the momentum he has created over the last five years.
